Lisa Gutermuth is program manager of the Ranking Digital Rights project, which ranks the world's largest technology companies on their policies and practices affecting their users' right to freedom of expression and privacy.  She is also Visiting Researcher at the Humboldt Institute für Internet und Gesellschaft (HIIG).  Working with a range of digital rights organizations over the years, her work has also touched on index creation, mapping, remote sensing, and data visualization.
