Following her work for big companies, Cornelia used her acquired skills to create an innovative platform that connects refugees, volunteers and experts. She studied sustainable Business Management at HNEE and wrote her final dissertation on knowledge management in online communities and its use for companies at the Deutsche Telekom. Thereby she also designed the first customer community for Sky GmbH. After graduating, Cornelia worked as COO at the software company Enabee GmbH and as an IT Project Manager at Paper&Coffee GmbH. In 2015, she felt compelled to do something about the difficulties in access information relevant for refugee support. In co-design workshops, she then created a community-plattform for and with refugees and volunteers, making access to information quick and easy - It’s called Wefugees
