Dr. Priit Vinkel has been with Estonian elections administration since the first e-enabled elections in 2005, heading the administration of the electoral committee from 2013 to 2017. In 2017 he started as the Head of the newly formed State Electoral Office, the administrative body of Estonian elections. He has a PhD and MSoc in Public Administration from Tallinn University of Technology and a BA in Political Science from Tartu University. He has also conducted research on the concept of Internet Voting in Tallinn University of Technology and University of Tartu.
