Joanna Mikulski

Joanna Mikulski is an entrepreneur, writer, and CEO of Assemblyfor, a strategy and design firm dedicated to making social change. She led WithoutViolence, an initiative to help violence prevention practitioners at international organizations, social entrepreneurs from the U.S. and East Africa, and youth advocates from Latin America use behavioral insights and solutions-focused framing to develop more powerful communications. Before that, Joanna worked at the White House Office of Management and Budget to embed evidence-based decision making and innovation throughout policy development. Her writing on philanthropy and open technology has appeared in the Stanford Social Innovation Review and Next City. She has a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of the Arts in English literature and German at the University of Notre Dame.
