Melanie Stilz
Research associate
Melanie has a background in European Ethnology and Computer Science and a PhD in Communications, researching on the intersection of digital technologies, communication studies, STS and international development. Since 2013 Melanie is a research associate at TU Berlin and Siegen University with a teaching a research interest in electronics, digital labs and ICTs and education and working on a freelance basis as a consultant in the same area. Previous cooperations include One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) Afghanistan, Ustad Mobile (Mobile Literacy), GIZ, MICT, KfW, Parliamentwatch, GIG and others. She is also co-founder of Konnektiv, Agency for Education and Development und Digital Unite e.V.
